ARE YOU THINKING FOR MY CHILD’S SAFETY?

Yes, we place the highest priority that each project participant is safe while attending the Orlando Project.  One way we are committed to providing safety for your child is by having policies in place such as a nightly curfew that is upheld and checked on a daily basis. Please refer to the OP Policies for further details.

WHAT ABOUT TRANSPORTATION?

We encourage as many students as possible to drive and carpool to the Orlando Project. Cars are needed to transport students to their summer employment as well as other project functions.

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THESE TRAININGS...

One of the goals of the OP is to give each student the tools which will help them walk with God for the rest of their lives, whether that life is back to the college campus or beyond.  In other words, the trainings students will receive on the OP aren't just for their time in Orlando.  With this in mind, students will receive training on things such as living in community, how to study the Bible, how to talk about their faith, how to grow as a spiritual leader, and more.

CAN WE VISIT THE OP?

Yes, you are welcome to visit the Orlando Project at any time!  There is also a special Parents’ Weekend planned for the weekend of June 21st-23rd during which students schedules are cleared and they have the opportunity to spend time with their parents or visitors. You can register for this weekend online at theorlandoproject.org/visit-the-op. If you have more questions about this event, please contact Brooke Lueking, brooke.lueking@campusoutreach.org.

WHERE WILL MY CHILD BE LIVING?

The Wyndham Orlando Resort has laundry machines that students can pay to use on property. In addition, there are multiple laundromats within a short drive of the resort.

WHAT CHURCHES WILL MY CHILD BE ATTENDING?

Sunday worship is a built-in component of the Orlando Project. Students will be assigned to one of two local partner churches:

WHAT IS CAMPUS OUTREACH?

HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH CONFLICT OF DATES?

Any out of town trips (i.e. weddings, military duty) must be discussed and approved with the Orlando Project Director. You can email Matt Cazee at matt.cazee@campusoutreach.org

HOW CAN MY CHILD AFFORD THE COST OF ATTENDING THE ORLANDO PROJECT?

It is possible to pay in weekly installments. Please refer to the Rent Payment document. In addition, your child may raise support in the form of tax-deductible donations from friends, family, businesses, and churches to cover the cost.
